Throughout pregnancy and the postpartum journey, the body goes through many changes that significantly impact the functionality of the core and pelvic floor. Understanding these changes and the implications they have on exercises empowers you as a Pilates professional to help your clients stay safe while improving strength, which will aid them in a smoother birth and faster recovery.
This 4-hour workshop is led by Erica Bell, a Pilates instructor who specializes in prenatal and postnatal Pilates. In this workshop she’ll teach you specific techniques that will help your clients safely connect to their core and pelvic floor. She’ll share practical, actionable exercises you can seamlessly integrate into your workout programming immediately.

ERICA BELL
Erica is the owner of a busy home studio in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan that's waitlisted. She specializes in working with mamas during and after pregnancy. She is passionate about women’s health and wellness and fuses her deep knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics with her athletic, contemporary teaching style to create workouts that deliver results. In addition to her home studio, she is a Pilates educator offering a Prenatal & Postnatal Pilates Intensive, Business & Brand Accelerator for Pilates instructors, and 1:1 mentorship.
Always learning and honing her skills as an instructor is integral to her success. In addition to her comprehensive STOTT certification, she’s also PMA certified, Prenatal & Postnatal certified via the Center for Women’s Fitness, completed the Pure Body Faculty Bridge program, and is a Specialist in Pilates-Based Exercise for Neurological Diseases.
