OVERVIEW
This workshop is part of our Mental Health Awareness Month series that highlights and helps give you access to tools that help you take care of your mental health. One of those tools is: Meditation.
Meditation helps you relax, clear your mind, and reduce stress. It helps make you aware of your thoughts so you can declutter and focus your mind. This often leads to better physical and emotional well-being.
To practice meditation, we invite you to join our Focus Mat Workout on May 18th. It blends 30 minutes of invigorating Mat Pilates and 20 minutes of guided meditation focused on Self-Compassion. Because we all need more of that!

GREGORY PEOPLES
Greg is originally from Pensacola, Florida, but was raised in Dallas, Texas where at the young age of 4 he started playing sports and athletics became a large part of his life. He moved to LA in 2022, bringing with him a passion for empowering individuals through a holistic approach to health. While working as a trainer at Equinox here in LA, he was introduced to Mat Pilates and found the method transformative for both himself and his clients, so he decided to focus on Pilates. While his roots are in fitness, Greg equally enjoys shaping the mind and is an accredited meditation and CBT teacher. His expertise in mindfulness enhances his ability to help clients create mind-body connections. With his fitness and mindfulness certifications and 15+ years of athletic experience, Greg employs a diverse range of training methods into his workouts, including High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Peripheral Heart Action Training (PHAT), strength training, athletic conditioning, and calisthenics. His unique approach centers on building strength from the core outward. Leveraging his athletic background, he helps individuals improve mobility and achieve lean muscle mass while refining their physique. What sets Greg apart is his unique ability to seamlessly blend Pilates with mindfulness so you leave feeling centered and sweaty!
